Due to ongoing construction work, access to the athletics stadium grounds will be closed to the public until further notice. We kindly ask the public to respect the prohibition of entry to the construction site.

The stadium is undergoing a revitalisation of the running track with a sprint straight and a training straight, and the construction of further sectors.
The surface will be certified in accordance with DIN V 18035-6, Type A or later European standards and WA requirements. The athletics facility, after modifications, will receive WA certification in category CLASS 2, Construction Category V.
