Basic information:
The sports complex in the town of Cheb, located on the left bank of the Ohře River, is designed for recreational and sports use and was built as part of the "Tourist Utilisation of the Left Bank of the Ohře" project in 2013. The project was financed through the structural funds of the European Union from the North-West Regional Operational Programme and received an honourable mention in the "Building of the Karlovy Vary Region" competition for its exemplary regeneration of a neglected area.
Sports facilities
Athletics stadium Sports facility built in 2013. Modern athletic oval with a gold-coloured surface. It is not only used for athletic training but is also available for the general public and sports clubs to run on. The centre of the athletics stadium has a grass surface where visitors can engage in various sports activities. In 2022, the athletics track was re-topped and athletics sectors were completed (the investor was the town of Cheb, cost 11.9 million CZK).
Outdoor artificial turf floorball pitch: It is located next to the athletics stadium, towards Vávra's footbridge. It was built by the city of Cheb in 2022 for 1.49 million CZK.
Beach volleyball courts Two outdoor beach volleyball courts were built in 2022 by the town of Cheb for CZK 2.17 million. You can find them in the area between the cycle path by the river and the athletics oval.
Basketball court Constructed by the town of Cheb in 2022 for 2.93 million CZK. It is located next to the skatepark.

Rope Centre The Rope Centre offers a large circuit – 250 metres long – and a small circuit with continuous belaying. Low, children's rope obstacles are also available. You will also find a Big Swing and a Power Fan device, which allows you to experience freefall. More detailed information can be found on the official website of Lanové centrum Cheb. www.lccheb.cz
Multi-purpose sports facilities The multi-purpose sports fields are located outside the athletic stadium, on a flat area by the Ohře River. These include a petanque court and a table tennis court. On the adjacent grassy area, you can also play French tennis, badminton, frisbee, or engage in other physical activities.
Picnic meadow Prostranství určené především pro odpočinek a pohodové využití volného času návštěvníků. Nachází se u skateplazy (přístup přes dřevěnou lávku přes řeku pod Chebským hradem). Kromě travnaté louky, kde si mohou lidé užívat svůj piknik na dece, jsou zde instalovány i 2 velké grily, které jsou návštěvníkům volně k dispozici.
Cross country track It is located next to the Krajinka Sports Complex and is freely accessible. It is a track that meets all prescribed criteria. It is designed for cross-country event competitions, both cycling and running. The track surface is sandy with a gravel base.
