Visitors to the swimming pool in Cheb have, since 1 October 2021, had a new option to pay for entry using a contactless payment card. This is possible thanks to a new cash register system at the pool reception, which was launched for the first time today. In the future, this system will also allow for the introduction of electronic season tickets. New season tickets will be the size and shape of a payment card and, using a special code, will communicate with the cash register. Credits will then be deducted from the season ticket, and the system will automatically record the entry in visitor statistics. The card can also be photographed and saved to a mobile phone, and read directly from a mobile at the cash register. Within a year, we would like to implement the system across all sports facilities, so that visitors could use purchased credits to swim, ice skate or perhaps play table tennis at the Lokomotiva sports centre.
