The municipal swimming pool in Cheb, which has been managed by our organisation since January, will remain closed despite the gradual easing of coronavirus restrictions. The main reason is the low utilisation of the sports facility without the participation of schools and swimming clubs. The Cheb swimming pool traditionally closes during holidays, and reopening for one month would lead to very poor economic results. Filling it up after a long period of technical equipment being out of operation could also reveal several faults. Related maintenance will be carried out as usual during the holidays. The public trial run is scheduled for 23 August 2021. The opening hours of the swimming pool will be published well in advance on the websites of the organisation and the town of Cheb. Swimming pool visitors can still take advantage of the option to exchange unused season tickets for the pool. The exchange takes place until July 31st at the office of the Cheb City Sports Facilities Administration Secretariat, a contributory organisation.
