The Cheb Municipal Sports Facilities Administration, a contributory organisation, will join the maximum effort to optimise the collection of recyclable components of municipal waste in our town. The pilot facility will be the Lokomotiva Sports Complex from September 2021. Waste separation bins (mixed waste, plastic, paper) will be placed throughout the complex, including the sports hall. A large amount of waste is generated at sports facilities through both maintenance and use. In terms of use, this primarily concerns packaging and bottles from athletes, which can be easily separated from general municipal waste when placed in the bin. In the past, this option was unavailable to all users of Cheb's sports facilities, which is why we gradually intend to introduce it at all sports facilities managed by us. We are also appealing to athletes to use the waste sorting facilities.
